New York New York I used to live in Los Angeles so went to Las Vegas a lot!! I lived there from 21 to 27 so the perfect years to have fun in Sin City. One of my favourite hotels to stay in was New York New York. Here you get the best of the big apple without actually having to go to New York at all. Inside the hotel you find find that most of it is themed to be like a stroll around the streets of New York. I saw this hotel reviewed in a magazine article several years ago and was fascinated by it, so I knew exactly where I wanted to stay when we finally booked a trip to Las Vegas! As the name suggests, the hotel is built as a replica of New York city, complete with a little Statue of Liberty and mini Brooklyn Bridge. Its hard not to be impressed with the design of this hotel, even based on its novelty value alone. However it offers much, much more than that. New York New York is a large casino hotel located at one end of the Las Vegas Strip. The most striking external feature of the complex is that it is modelled on the New York skyline and comes complete with landmarks such as the Statue of Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge as well as having a huge rollercoaster that winds itself along the skyline. The hotel has a real prime location and staying there really puts you in the heart of Las Vegas. New York New York was one of my favourite hotels to visit in Vegas and one that I would love to go back and stay in one day. It was fun right from the very moment you walk up to it and going inside it has a really unique look and atmosphere which puts it as unique amongst the Vegas hotels.
