Advantages: well priced, good location.

Quirky, boutique hotel.
Very good for a 3 star rating. My room (the standard classic) was fairly small but clean and comfortable, decorated to a very high standard, no bath but ensuite bathroom otherwise very nice. For families superior and deluxe rooms are available that sleep 3 or 4 people. There was a TV with satellite channels, a hairdryer was provided, air con and an electronic safe. Breakfast was served in the small bar, good selection of continental items. There was also a roof terrace - nice to eat there or take drinks out. Wifi was available (extra charge for this).

The building resembles a converted residential block - the hotel doesn't occupy the whole building but is split over several levels within the building. On arrival reception will buzz you in as the reception desk is on the 5th floor with hotel rooms scattered over the lower floors. Some of the floors have space occupied by other offices and apartments.There is a small lift available - will only hold 2 or 3 people at a time.

Reception staff spoke very good English and were very helpful. Rates were reasonable - 160 euros for 2 nights, there are regular offers on the website so you may well find a cheaper price depending on your travel dates. There was a discount for paying in cash and also a hostel available for budget travellers.

Convienently located - 10 minute walk from the main Stazioni Termini and there is a metro stop round the corner. Is on a side street so no noise unless you have the windows open or are on the roof terrace. You can easily walk to some of the main sights and the open top city tours pass nearby. There are lots of restaurants nearby and some have discount cards in reception.

Overall I would recommend staying here particularly if you prefer somewhere with individuality and personality rather than the big chains which feel rather sterile to me. The major attraction here was the character of the hotel -it feels welcoming, I would certainly stay here again.
