Moreover, it is in an attractive building that has been imaginatively renovated and has only 31 bedrooms. So every guest is treated with the personal touch. Choosing a hotel in any capital city can be a trying experience and the best option is always to get a personal recommendation. And that was how I found the Hotel Hackescher Markt. I asked a friend from Berlin where I should stay, and told him I didn’t much fancy a huge 500 bedroom establishment, I didn’t mind paying a few quid and I wanted to be in the centre of the action.
