Advantages: Plenty of food all day long

Disadvantages: None really apart from having to wait for the lifts.

Have just returned from a weeks holiday at the Hotel Jupiter and can recommend it. Was a bit worried after booking only a week before we left and then reading some of the reviews . We arrived late at night and I must admit was a bit worried when we saw everyone milling around with drinks. But at an all inclusive resort what do you expect!!
Next day was a different story. The hotel was very clean and our room was basic but clean as well. The balcony was a bit small but we were'nt in that much to use it.
The food was really good, plenty of choices and a separate part for children to choose from. Plenty of salad and fruit if you are on a diet and plenty of desserts (healthy and naughty)as well. If going out for the day you can order a picnic if you have booked a trip with the hotel but it is a do it yourself job with a loaf of bread and a tin of pate and a tin of tuna. If going down the beach take some sandwiches or baguettes from around the bar to eat and take some fruit out with you when you finish breakfast.
Loads of things for children to do around the complex. The evening entertainment was really good, some good tribute bands , and bingo as well if you like it. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. We never had to queue for our meals and there was always plenty of space to sit.
The lifts were sometimes a bit temperamental and you had to wait a while sometimes.
The free beach bus was out of action for 2 days but it was only a 10-15 minute walk to the beach. The free bus also takes you into the Port of Acudia in the evenings. This is full of souvenir shops and places to eat.
Shop around for any trips that you might want to go on. We found the ones organised by the holiday reps were quite dear compared to others. There is a place near the Spar shop that does trips but make sure you don't book one that has a 90 minute health presentation included! It is much cheaper but might not be worth it. If you want to go into the Old Town get a taxi from the hotel It cost about 5 euros for 3 of us each way.
All in all it is a great place to stay and I can only imagine that some people must have been looking for things to complain about as we couldn't find any faults.

Summary: A great place to stay,ideal for families, food excellent
