I have just returned from this Club Mac complex (22 July 09) and recommend it to anyone with a family. I read the reviews AFTER booking and had this image of hell in the sun. The rooms are smallish but the weathers great and with 8 pools including specific childrens pools who wants to be in the room all day. The extensive range of food was great (each evening different theme eg Spanish, carnival, asian). During the day there are several food outlets to choose from including a full restaurant, burger bar area and hot snacks area (entrance hidden around the back of a pool). Breakfasts were far more superior than continental affairs offering full english, cereals, yogurts etc. All food was cooked to a great standard and freshly prepared. The drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic were plentiful and the measures on spirits were vast, beer was San Miguel (tastes ok to me) also offered Pepsi and good range of soft drinks. In the evenings there was plenty to watch and do with some good acts in the evening and the kids club was great. As others have said free bus rides to beach in the day and Port Alcudia in the evening (wait until little later to go to Port and you will miss the rush to get on the earlier bus run). The complex is vast but dont be put off there is alot on the complex to do and the staff are exceptional whereever you look there is someone tidying up and cleaning something. I would recommend this hotel to anyone with children the only downside in my opinion was the lack of lifts in the hotel (long waits).
