i cannot believe how many bad reviews this hotel has had.........we stayed there in june this year (all 17 of us) and there is not one thing we could fault. The rooms were spotless and cleaned everyday with the option of clean bed sheets everyday as well. The food was amazing, i am a very fussy eater but the standard and variety would suit ... Its based on 3 different properties, jupitar, marte and saturno, very central and close to the beach as well. its a very family friendly hotel, does have day time and evening time entertainment and has got a kids club aswell. You can get a family of 5 rooms easily but they don't cater very spacious and big apartments, Alcudia is known for its ... Read the complete review

I have just returned from this Club Mac complex (22 July 09) and recommend it to anyone with a family. I read the reviews AFTER booking and had this image of hell in the sun. The rooms are smallish but the weathers great and with 8 pools including specific childrens pools who wants to be in the room all day. The extensive range of food was great ... I dont Know how the people below ended up having a bad time, but before we went we read all these different reviews from different web sites and we got really worried. When we got there however it was really nice and my family and i had a great holiday. It is a family resort so if you are a couple you may not want go there but only because of all the kids running around. The food was fine and the free unlimited drinks and snack you are intitled to make you feel special. The pools are magnificent not heated but there is no need as the weather is spectacular. The beach is amazing and the hotel has its own private bus to the beach so you dont hve to walk. I would definatly re visit.

what all those people below are saying is rubbish!
Hotel Jupiter is a verynice hotel.
The rooms are clean and avarage but you are hardly ever in your room.
the entertainment is good and keep u occupied.
The food is brilliant and is cooked in front of your eyes.
I loved the pools as they were big and warm
It is not too farfrom the beach and the market.
I would reccomend the hotel jupiter for anyone going alone or with kids as I took my kids.
It is a very good hot

Please don't go to Hotel Jupiter. Its everything written in these last reviews and worse. We went with First Choice and they were terrible as well. My baby girl was was 18 months at the time and got such such terrible food poisoning we thought she was dying. All of us were ill, and a week of our holiday wasted. While we were there (August 2008) ... Read the complete review

well what can I say about this absoulte rubbish hotel, the food was disgusting, there was the same food everyday with no variety, and the kids menu was the same old everyday chips and chicken nuggets! It was cold and bland. There was supposed to be food 24 hrs a day when this was so not true, only snacks through the day were cheese ham and tuna ... Read the complete review

The hotel is very lucky to still be trading, health & hygiene officers would have a field day with the food, tuna, ham, cheese left out all day on the snackbar, no covers from the fly's, next to a window in the sun, bacteria heaven. Resturaunt food was inedible most days, cold, no variety, stale bread. Rooms need updating, shower facilities in bathroom poor, kids entertainment just about ok, but not great, some good acts on at night for adults, but it dont start till 10pm. Would go back to alcudia, but never this complex, its a two star on a good day, needs modernising badly, & some of staff not really helpful.

well where do i start. I am just back from the jupitar and i wont be back. The food and drink were a disgrace it was that bad my children wouldnt eat anything I spent all my money eating and drinking out. the hotel its self wasnt clean it was a joke if you ask me. there wasnt much for the kids to do either they were bored afternthe first week. the place was full of big fat english people who did nothing but lie at the pool and eat all day. the entertainment was crap aswell it was the worst holiday of my life.

We got home from hotel jupiter about a week ago. We stayed for 2 weeks, and would definately not go back. We enjoyed the first week but by the second week we had had enough of fighting for loungers by the pool, treading over half eaten food and the people running up and down the corridors at nite, making it impossible to sleep. It was very over crowded. Both my children got ill with bad tummy upsets, and also on arriving home my husband became very ill, and we have just found out he has had food poisioning, which would have come from the hotel as we didnt eat anywhere else. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We were in a party of 7. Every one of us was ill and confined to our room for at least a period of 24 hours, the worst being my niece who was ill for 4 days. I believe this was related to the conditions at the complex. A visit to the doctor will initially cost you 75 euros followed by 35 euros for a review consultation not including prescriptions ... Butlins in the Sun - Thats the only way to describe it....not our cup of tea. Overcrowded, people are fighting for sun loungers/food/beer/chairs whereever you go, maybe it would be better in the quieter seasons....Staff are helpful and try to clean up but there's always food and drinks spilt everywhere and flies around everything...The beach is lovely, we spent most days there as it was quieter than the pools (of which one pool per day was shut as someone had soiled in it - loads of babies with no nappies on in the pools) 26.08.08
