Disadvantages: Fairly bland food

Situated a short walk from a golden sandy beach the Hotel Kilma is ideal for family and couples alike. We arrived on a cool spring morning to find our rooms ready and waiting.The service was excellnt and got us to our rooms promptly. The room thoughsmall had everything a couple could desire. We settled in quickly and then went down for lunch. The food was simple, as the Tunisians do not import many items, so the food is seasonal. We ate heartily and then took a walk along that beautiful beach, marred only by the extraordinary sized ants!

The night life of Hammamet is quiet. We stayed in our hotel most nights and watched the entertainment staff who were incredible. They were there all through the day keeping us all moving. They were fun loving and kind.

I was unfortuante enough to fall foul of the morning sickness I hoped would arrive later in my pregnancy (which I found out about just 5 days before we were due to leave for Tunisia). the Hotel staff were wonderful as I became worse and looked after me very well. At no point did I feel the need to trouble a doctor but the staff were worried about my lack of appitite and allowed me to ask for anything I fancied at anytime I liked. If I fancied scrambled eggs at 12:30 am I got them.

I would heartly reccommend Hotel Kilma to anyone who wanted a different type of holiday. The staff are friendly and kind. The food, though simple is well cooked and delicious. The hotel is clean and well run. And the entertainment is light and funny.
