Our choice of hotel was pretty much determined by the package holiday we had selected, from the Crystal brochure. We usually travel with Crystal because we have found them to be a reasonably reliable company in the past. We've rarely had any disappointments with them. The Hotel Furggen was chosen from the eleven or so on offer for two reasons; they offered Bed & Breakfast rather than Half or Full Board; they offered a ski to and from the door capability (depending on snow conditions). Other than going for an apartment and self-catering, we couldn't have wanted more but Italy is not renowned for self-catered skiing, at least, not through the package ... Read the complete review
