... these were privately owned but, as they have come up for sale, the hotel has been buying them. We had booked rooms in the hotel but were offered one of these villas instead for no extra cost. We accepted with enthusiasm. They are beautiful. The have a large lounge, fully equiped kitchen, three or four bedrooms upstairs and a private sunroof for an all-over tan. This hotel was chosen more or less by chance, rather like the resort (Miami Playa) itself. It was one of the selections in the British Airways Air Miles brochure and seemed to fit the bill. It turned out to be a very good choice. The hotel is actually a complex. It consists of a main hotel building, built in a semi-circle around the patio and bathing pools. Stretching away from the hotel are its own private gardens in which you can sunbathe, on provided loungers. There are also tennis courts.
