I booked this Bed and Breakfast package online with First Choice. It cost £250 per person for a week in Kriopigi in Halkidiki

This hotel has so much potential to be amazing. The pool is nice, there is a beach with private access down a steep hill so is never busy and the snorkelling is excellent.

However this 43 roomed hotel is currently not up to scratch. Apparently the owner is selling up, and therefore their customer service has gone out of the window.

Our room was fine, apart from skirting boards falling off the ceiling and not being fixed back on, the walls being half finished with chipped paint, the shower leaking, the bathroom not being cleaned all week and it generally being not cleaned properly.

The view from our balcony was amazing, we were lucky to get a sea view room. We spoke to other people who had been given mouldy basement rooms.

The bar area had a great view, although it was ruined by the rude staff who sat by the entrance of it all day and night giving you evil looks. They tutted and huffed if you wanted to buy something from the bar, barely cracked a smile and were just generally rude.

They also didnt bat an eyelid when the pool area was taken over by local teenagers on our last day. Ruining the nice quiet atmosphere of going to a resort aimed at adults.

I have complained to First Choice about the hotel but apparently as I didnt tell my rep (who was for the most part absent on holiday) or phone the holiday line (which would have cost me a lot on my mobile) then I cannot have any sort of refund. I am not impressed and I urge you not to book this hotel.
