Hotel Riu Playacar (Playa del Carmen, Mexico)
Newest Review: ... of its own, which was a shame as so many people there clearly weren't going to venture out to see the rest of mexico. I was initially quite upset at the size as there seemed to be no personality to place, however I was wrong. There was plenty of personality in the staff on site and in the general atmosphere, there was always laughing and fun to be had, from shooting to pool sports it was ... more  ... brilliantly organised entertainment.

A brilliant hotel with enough to keep anyone occupied for two weeks and in a great location for those who want to explore. Rooms: We were given a superdooper duluxe room which was like a mini apartment. With two large single beds, two TV's, shower, bath and double sink, it was certainly luxury. The rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels if they were needed. The room had a balcony which was great for having friends over and there were plenty of seats, from sofas to arm chairs and conventional dining chairs through to sun loungers and of course sitting on the bed. Good accomodation , lovely food , great facilities , nice staff , near the sea . Beach volcanic rock , may be off the beaten track for some , not for kids .
