Dijon is a difficult place to get to from almost anywhere else, except maybe Paris. If you want to get there from the UK, it's a nightmare. For a couple of years I had to go at least every couple of months, travelling from East Anglia and there was no easy way to get between where I was and where I needed to be. One option was drive to Stansted, fly to Paris, bus or taxi into central Paris, TGV to Dijon and the other option was to bite the bullet and drive the whole way. Surprisingly the drive didn't always seem the worst option and many times that's what I did.
