What The Hotel Says About Itself

The Style Hotel is situated in the centre of Mogliano Veneto at about 100m from the railway station. The Hotel is the ideal destination for a tourist holiday as it permits thier own guests to reach Venice in only 10 minutes without using the car thanks to 50 daily trips of railway traffic. The hotel is also very useful for businessmen as it is placed just halfway from the industrial areas of Trviso and Venice-Mestre.
The rooms have been refurnished with taste and they all offer a high standard of comfort. They are all fitted with a shower or bath and some of them are fitted with a Jacuzzi. All flooring is parquet or moquette and have been made with anallergic and hygienic materials.

My Experience

Ok so we'd booked our flights to Treviso airport so it was time to find somewhere to stay. From Ryan Air's website we clicked a link offering cheap hotels, this turned out to be booking.com. At first we were looking for hotels in the heart of Venice but we were on a strict budget and decided to widen our search to see if we could find anything that could suit our pockets. Hotel Style was on of the best that came up on our search. A 4 star hotel for 101 Euros for 2 nights, great! We booked it straight away through booking.com without actually looking if the hotel itself had a website (I shall come back to this point later). we booked using a debit card were told that the card wouldn't actually be charged until we booked in. Booking.com sent us our booking confirmation immediatley, this also contained the website address of the Hotel. So we inspected to the site and were pleased with what we saw, from the site we were able to email the hotel our flight number and ask them to arrange a taxi to pick us up from Treviso airport. Next morning the hotel had emailed us back confirming there would be a taxi waiting to pick us up. Ace!
So the day arrived we landed at Treviso at around 11pm, taxi was waiting as promised. it took about 20 minutes to get to Hotel Style and cost us 35 Euros.
On booking in my first impressions of the Hotel were great the reception was friendly , explaining that the front door gets locked at 11.30pm and after that youneeded your key Card to get in, she explined the room service asked us if there was anything we needed informed us about the breakfast (this isn't included in the booking price) and directed us to our room. The place was sparkling clean.
Ok it took as while to get in our room, after 11.30pm you need both your room key and key card to get in, the lock seemed quite stiff but we finally managed it. To be honest I would've like the room to be a wee bit bigger, although kitted out with bedside tables, dressing table, king size bed, warddrobe and tv, there wasn't much room nbetween the end of the bed and the wall. The bathroom was huge, (my fella was a little disappointed we didn't get a room with a jacuzzi), equipt with shower, toliet, bidet and hand basin, it also had a massive mirror, a hairdryer and there was loads of fresh white fluffy towels.
We had a bit of an explore round town then back to the hotel where I slept like a baby, the bed was extremley comfortable. I had been a little worried that we might get some noise from the railway but the double glazing is alomst sound proof.
At some ungodly hour in the morning (about 8am) we were woken by a knocking at the door, being half asleep we both rolled over and ignored it, it turned out to the maid who let herself in and got a lovely view of my boyfriends backside, needless to say she left sharpish and we got up quite quickly. I did have a look for a Do Not Disturb sign but we hadn't been provided with one.
The hotel only offers a continental breakfast as it doesn't have a catering kitchen. So your eating out the rest f the time. Hotel Style does recommenend a local resturant , 'Ai Veneziani' to it's guests for evening meals, the receptionist gave us directions but we couldn't find it to save our lives and ended up eating at the strangest Chinese Restaurant I've ever been in (it's whole other review) which was on the next block along from the hotel.
After a drink at the bar the next night we slept just as well and the maid must've decided to lleave us until last. We were booking out that day, so had to vactate our room by 11am, we were offered the use of the luggage storage room free of charge but we were getting the train into Treviso so decided we'd just take our bags and head to the airport from there. But we really enjoyed our stay.

Overall Opinions

Staff: Warm, friendly and helpful
Feel/Mood Of the Hotel: Chilled
Cleanliness: The hotel was gleamig throughout
Services: We didn't have much need for the services offered but were happy with what we were offered. Girls I would take your own hairdryer's though the ones in the rooms are as much use a a chocolate fire guard.
Bar: Clean, easy to get served, and just as dear as going out for a drink here.
Location: Although I would've loved to have stayed in the heart of Venice I can't complain about Hotel Style's location at all, it's right inbetween Venice and Treviso and many towns are so easily accessable by the rail service. The only thing I will say is that Mogliano Veneto isn't really a tourist area, it is residential, therefore a lot of bars and resturants don't have menus in English
Food: This hotel could really do witrh a kitchen, that was a massive downside of the stay, As the hotel only does a continetal breakfast and there isn't much choice in the local area.
TV: Not really into watching the tv while I'm away but did have a flick through while the bloke was still asleep and the only channel I could undestand was CNN and reception was very poor.
Staying Again: If we go back to that part of the world I would definately stay at Hotel Style again and would recommeded it to other people.

Other Info

Prices:
As the hotel offers different types of rooms prices vary depending on whether you wish to book a single, double, 3 bedded or a family room, prices may also vary depending on what time of year you wish to stay. Breakfast is available at a small extra charge. we paid 101 Euros for a double room for 2 nights without breakfast.
Booking
The hotel features on qutie a few hotel and booking websites. We booked through booking.com but when we checked out we were told that if we wanted to stay again to though the hotel itself either by telephone or on the internet as this would be cheaper.
