Disadvantages: noisy roads to the front and sides

Very disappointing and would NOT recommend this place. We had a room on 1st floor above the cafe, the road was horrendously noisy and to sit on the balcony I had to wear ear plugs to get any peace, non stop noise of traffic all day long!!
Apartment floor was washed twice in the fortnight we were there and the only time the balcony was washed was when we arrived and I complained of the muck on it. The dirt was ingrained into the floor of the toilet, on rubbing the floor with a "baby-wipe" I was able to make a clean spot. A large rug was leaning against the wall in the bedroom, in the corner and I rolled it out to use, uncovering several cobwebs on the wall, when I rolled out the rug it was absolutely filthy and was even dirtier than the patio! I put it down on the floor of the lounge hoping that the maid would vacuum it, well I am still waiting! Just had to toss it out on the balcony where it stayed for the length of our stay. The fan did not work in the bedroom but we could not leave patio doors open for air because of the traffic noise, all night long people blowing their horns. A stinky Z-bed in a cabinet revealed yet more cobwebs, I shudder to think of a family having to use it. On the plus side it had a good dishwasher.
My family stayed the week after we returned home and had to ask for the cigar butts to be removed from the none to clean pool.
Marbella is a beautiful place and I just wish we had found somewhere else to stay, it does have a lovely foyer, but we didn't sleep in the foyer.

Summary: would not recommend it
