Hotel Utrillo (Paris)

After some time of Air Mile collecting, I decided to cash in and treat my partner to a trip to Paris. Being a big fan of the Moulin Rouge and cabaret shows in general we decided to book somewhere in Monmartre. Hotel Utrillo is a 2 star hotel based in a vibrant part of the city, close to attractions and great links for the subway. The road which the hotel sits on wasn't the easiest to find, but after a few simple French words to a helpful man at the nearest subway station (Blanche) we were merely a 3 minute walk away. This was the hotel that I stayed at in Paris. We didnt book to stay in this one, we booked at the Regent Montmartre. However as soon as we got there that hotel put us in a taxi to this one. We think they double booked the room and are complaining to Eurostar about it. Hotel Utrillo is a 2 star small hotel in the heart of Montmartre just up the hill from the Moulin Rouge.
