~ ~ One of the problems of going on holiday is you can never be 100% sure that the accommodation you have booked is going to live up to expectations. The Internet has improved things, because now you can log on and check out your selected hotel or guesthouse before you actually part with any hard earned dosh. (Well, most of the time anyway) ~ ~ But even then you can be caught out, if the hotel is slightly less than ethical, and portrays itself online in a way that is entirely different to the reality. We got badly caught out in 2001, when a hotel we booked as part of a package holiday in Tuscany, Italy, turned out to be only slightly better than a pokey ... Read the complete review
