Cheap Hostels in Barcelona From 19?! Cheap apartments and Hotels in spain! I am use to go to barcelona often but i allways had the same problem: the lodging there is expensive and not so good! Paradis Park, in Pineda de mar, Barcelona, Costa Brava, Spain. This hotel, is a 3 star, which is their rating, not a proper AA one, as I think if the AA rated it, it would'nt even get 1 star. It is part of a chain of H. Top hotels, which have 6 x 4stars and around 9 x 3stars. And I think this one was on of the worst. Bad: Terrible food, I really wouldn't feed it to a dog, and I am not joking. It does look good, and they sometimes have something different during lunch and dinner, with snacks between these, which is just terrible burgers, a hot dog style saussage, and chips. On my recent holiday to Spain, I stayed at the Hotel Canada in Barcelona. It's marked as four stars and on entering, it definitely gives the impression that it is. It's tastefully decorated inside, there's a lovely spiral staircase to your left and if you look straight ahead you can see sliding glass doors opening out to a swimming pool complete with palm trees to its right. As I said, it gives the impression that it's four stars. The rooms are all the same size, irregardless how many beds have been put in.
