Don't ask me why ... but I've always wanted to go to Brussels. I remember studying French when I was younger and having to memorise passages of text about the Grande Place and L'Atomium. It wasn't until I saw an offer on the Eurostar website that I thought.... "Why not go there for a weekend?? As with most trips abroad, getting there is the easy part, finding somewhere clean and convenient to stay is usually a lot harder. Luckily a couple of friends of mine had been to Brussels a few months earlier and stayed at the Radisson SAS hotel and thought it was ... Read the complete review

A 4 Star hotel that I would recommend to anyone with a bit more money to spend on accomodation when in Brussels. The Hotel Leopold is relatively central, if you know the city at all you will know that "La Grand Place", the Main Square in the city is one of the most central places. This hotel is about a 15 minute walk from there, and a 5 minute taxi ride. It still for me remains an excellent place to stay, being near enough to the city to enjoy all the sites and entertainment, yet far enough to escape the hustle and bustle. On a recent trip to Brussels myself and my girlfriend stayed at the Hotel Mozart. I found the hotel by doing a google.com search for hotels in Brussels. The web site of the hotel is: http://www.hotel-mozart.be Their email address is: hotel.mozart@skynet.be They are extremely quick to reply and are very helpful. Making a reservation via email could not have been easier. So, we set off, and while at Stansted Airport we decided to buy the ... Read the complete review

The Hotel Bedford is a 4 star hotel situated in Central Brussels, near the Belgian Parliament and the main tourist areas such as the central market square. The hotel itself was renovated in recent years and is quite luxurious in appearance, the rooms are a little small, but comfortable and with all the amenities that you would expect and despite its central location, it was quite at night. The breakfast room is large, serving a buffet breakfast with an excellent range to choose from. There was no waiting for a seat, even though the hotel was busy at the time. Beware though, we were on an organised tour which included dinner at the hotel. Our party ... Read the complete review
