Advantages: central. good staff
Disadvantages: fairly pricey, central!
last year and this have stayed at the Cape Sun Hotel which is situated in Central Cape Town. The advangtes is that it is easy to get around, and the Cape Town Tourist Office is less than a block away. You cannot though (like in most of South Africa) walk around after it gets dark - and the staff are very concerned about your safety. The staff on the door are very helpful, and park and fetch your car for you. The hotel itself has great views of Table Mountain or the Sea - if yu are high enough up and make sure you ask to be high up! There is a small Fitness room and plunge pool at the top. The fitness room is smal and not very good, so it is better to go to one of the gyms. The rooms are clean and pleasant. They have a shuttle bus to the big shopping and harbour complex

Good luck with your ops, and welcome.
A wee bit of advice from an "old hand".
If you give a bit more information and description than you're currently doing, you'll get more readers and more enjoyment out of the site. |
