Advantages: great hotel, good food, great hospitality

Disadvantages: too hot in the summer, a bit expensive

This hotel was wonderful. I'm a big golf fan, and I saw an item on CNN reviewing Dubai as a great golf destination. So I did my research before I went. I searched around the internet and found some great information on dubaisands.co.uk. Jebel Ali hotel was so beautiful, even more than the photos on the site showed.

The golf courses were great I would recommend them to everyone. If you've never played golf before you can get some great coaching out there as well. Paid $20/hour for a certified PGA golf coach. I'd be paying 5 times that amount back home.

Apart from the golf and the hotel, Dubai was a wonderful place. Great nightlife, great clubs (you should have seen the number of Porsches outside the Dubai Marine Beach and Spa Hotel club!). The restaurants were great as well. Not the cheapest, but certainly good food.

I'm planning on returning for the next golf tournament next year.
