Le Mas Candille is a 5-star hotel located in the village of Mougins in the South of France. It is less than an hour's drive from Nice airport. Some of the roads are a bit steep though! The room The room we stayed in was one of the less expensive ones, although at over 300 Euros per night it couldn't be described as cheap. It was a lovely room, but the downside was it overlooked the car park (although there were some very nice posh cars parked there). The room had a double bed, desk and chair, and built in wardrobes. There was also a mini bar and a TV with internet access. The bathroom had 2 basins, a separate bath and shower (with body jets), ... Read the complete review

Kyriad hotels is a chain of hotels situated all over France, so if you are looking for a quite a cheap getaway I would highly recommend them. The standard of the hotel is excellent as I am about to state below. All the hotels are based on major roads & tend to be based either on the edge of a city or just outside. This is a budget hotel chain with no frills. You will find this chain of hotels near formula one hotel and near the Holiday or Travel Inn hotels (British owned by either Whitbread or Bass). Originally this was a royal household, later privately owned by wealthy individuals, and has been a hotel only since 1993. Due to it being a recent hotel it is working very hard to be recognised and now is the perfect time to go while it remains a relatively unknown hotel. The whole experience was the epitamy of luxury, with the most 'incredible' food you could ... Read the complete review

Formule1 hotels are chain of hotels situated all over France, so if you are looking for a cheap getaway I would highly recommend them. A friend let me into the secret when I was planning “le weekend” & had a very tight budget. All the hotels are based on major roads & tend to be based either on the edge of a city or just outside. This is a budget hotel chain with no frills. Cheap does not mean a lesser product! Your room will sleep 3 people with a double bed & a bunk bed placed diagonally across the head end, if you have small children the rooms would suit 2 adults & 2 small children. All the rooms are identical & are ... Read the complete review
