The Caleta Hotel in Gibraltar is like my second home. I have been going there with my family every year for about 12 years and I love it. So much that I got married there in the beautiful garden! The rooms are lovely and I'd definitely recommend paying the extra for a sea view as when you walk out onto the balcony you look down and you are literally right over the sea. The view is amazing at sunrise and sunset. The rock views can also be good though as you might catch sight of some monkeys or may even have some sitting on your balcony! I recently stayed at the 'Bristol Hotel' in Gibraltar. Check in was easy, and the staff were friendly. The bedroom was small with a tiny bathroom. The bathroom was also carpeted, with hardly any space to move around. The walls had some black patches. The bed was clean and comfortable. The TV I had in my room didn't work, but as soon as I mentioned it, the TV was replaced. The Breakfast Room is seperate to the hotel. You have to leave the hotel, turn right and right into a narrow road, where the room is on the left. Breakfast was a real disappointment, there wasn't much to choose from, especially for vegetarians.
