Keep some pound coins to hand as they know how much you have given them and won't ask for any more. There is a fantastic pool area and swim up bar at this hotel where the staff are so friendly. The spa is well worth a trip too, it is very reasonably priced. The food is great and two days a week they take all the food outside where they put on a great show however the cats are about. Heritage village - Goa This was our first long hall holiday and what a great place to start. The hotel is fantastic and not too far from the airport. We got a tuk-tuk to the hotel at a very reasonable price. The baggage boys we had already been warned about at the airport they have your bags off before you get through passport control. The Taj Exotica, Goa is a five star resort which overlooks the Arabian Sea. It is a Mediterranean style hotel which is one of the best five star hotels in Goa. It set amid 56 acres of carefully manicured gardens which the gardeners seem to tens at all hours of the day and night. There are huge, tall palm trees all around the front which gives the building an exotic, tropical air as you go in via the front doors. The very first thing that struck me here was the slow pace of everything.
