Advantages: Good, reasonbly cheap

Disadvantages: location - a bit out of the way

The Riviera is not a bad hotel at all.

Reasonable rates and huge casino. Nice pool area and one (Circus Circus) very near by hotel. Excellent off-shot Nickeltown with $1 pints of freezing cold Budweiser a quality offer if ever there was one !!

Good range of slots and tables. Only real problem is location. A bit away from the main hotels further down the Strip but on the trolley bus route. If I stayed again I would n't go further North than Treasure ISland, however, all new hotels have to be at that end as Mandalay Bay is the Southermost point on which they are allowed to build, so further development near by may help the Riviera - most notably the new Titanic Hotel and probably the new San Fancisco Hotel coming soon afterwards.
