The Mgm Grand is the largest hotel in the world with a boasted 5000+ rooms, when we got there you can believe it, it has an enormous presence on the world famous strip. The room we stayed in was the Emerald rooms, which are actually the oldest rooms from the original hotel. As US hotel rooms go the rooms are not large, however the standards are high and the beds pretty comfortable. For the amount we paid I was satisfied rather then pleased.
The hotel it’s self is pretty mind blowing and can take a while to get your bearings, it really is like nothing you have ever seen. That said being a guest entitled you to use little more of the facilities than the public with only really the complex of swimming pools being used by us.
One point I must make is the check in and check out times, we seamed to take an eternity to check out despite a large number of desks.
