I recently travelled to the good ol' US of A - to Las Vegas for my best friends wedding. Myself and the other half went as we are all long time friends. Firstly my other half hates tall buildings and is not that keen on flying, as they are our best friends, he put his worries aside had a couple of beers and got on with it. If you know anything ... Las Vegas is world famous for its Strip, a road along which 9 of the world?s 10 largest hotels lie. If you start off at the airport end you arrive at the Mandalay Bay hotel. This is familiar because of its large golden windows and it is where Lennox Lewis fought Hasim Rahman last December. It is a fairly large hotel with an aquarium ... Read the complete review

When we decided to go to Vegas we had not booked a hotel so we searched the internet and rang up the major chains to see what the prices were. What was really important for us was the location as we did not plan to hire a car once there but to our amazement we were horrified to find that the prices were quite high as it was a weekend. ... In July I was fortunate enough to visit San Diego, Los Angeles and Las Vegas before returning back to the UK. Everything was going perfectly, the hotels stayed in were excellent the hire car was decent and we hadn’t picked up any speeding fines driving between the three locations. Life was sweet. However, in Las Vegas we had the ... Read the complete review

Im off to Las Vegas in 11 weeks time on honeymoon. I cant wait. We have both been looking forward to the first leg of our honeymoon for some time and it has always been a dream of mine to experience the state of Nevada. Las Vegas is not the only home to Casinos and posh hotels in the middle of the desert state. Nearby Reno is full of ... Read the complete review

LAS VEGAS , the city that never sleeps , where dreams are born and fortunes are won & lost. My wife and I have been to Las Vegas at least once every year since 1988. The Riviera is not a bad hotel at all. Reasonable rates and huge casino. Nice pool area and one (Circus Circus) very near by hotel. Excellent off-shot Nickeltown with $1 pints of freezing cold Budweiser a quality offer if ever there was one !! Good range of slots and tables. Only real problem is location. A bit away from the ... The Mgm Grand is the largest hotel in the world with a boasted 5000+ rooms, when we got there you can believe it, it has an enormous presence on the world famous strip. The room we stayed in was the Emerald rooms, which are actually the oldest rooms from the original hotel. As US hotel rooms go the rooms are not large, however the standards are ... 7 Nights in the MGM Grand, staying in a standard Emerald Tower room. I cant recommend this hotel enough, yes its big, yes it can be noisy but what a week. More restaurents than you can visit in a week, more slots than you could play in a week ;-) although I did try this.. A beautiful water park, gambling machines set into the bar, so you can drink ...
