Disadvantages: Some might find it a little too close to airport and the capital, little noisy on take off

If I ever get stranded on an island, which one will it be?! Well, it'll have to be somewhere in the Maldives. I have travelled to many countries and come from the Far East originally but settle in the UK, this place is truly paradise and hard to believe place like this still exists. Me and my husband went to the Kurumba resort for our honeymoon for 1 week, on the room only basis because we want to sample all the restuarants with 7 to choose from. We were greeted by cold drink and a warm welcome by all the staff as soon as we landed by speedboat to this island which is only 5 mins ride from the airport! The service from the staff are excellent through out and believe me, I have high expectation having come from the hospitiality industry! The variety of food they offer and the quality are amazing with fresh seafood on offer all the time. It was also my husband's 31st birthday as well and I have arranged them to make a cake for him, they even decorated our bedsheets with pedals for his birthday and also in the restaurant as well as the birthday song singing too! Overall, this is a place you cannot fault and if you want a truly relaxing holiday with water sports and pamering experience, this one cannot be missed.
