This feeling is continued inside - with the luxurious feel to the furnishings, the mutillingual and charming staff, and the hushed atmosphere within. Even the guest telephone at reception is inside a wood-panelled cubicle. Our room was high up on the umpteenth floor, and very well appointed - even the TV had lots of amusing Euro channels on (our TV isn't so bad after all). Starhotel Milan - a palatial oasis of calm and opulence! I've stuck this under other Hotels because every time I suggest a new hotel - it tends to get put randomly somewhere in the area of Hotels! Tucked away on a side street, next to a fine little restaurant and a prestige car showroom - the Starhotel is right out on the edge of Milan - yet handily served by the Metro station 100 yards away, that whisks you into the middle of town in about 12 minutes. The Palace Grande Hotel in Varese is a luxurious hotel set high on a hillside with superb views over the surrounding areas. Inside, the hotel is nothing but palatial, the rooms are tastefully furnished and the bathrooms are luxurious too, with marble floors etc. The rooms have air conditioning and offer very comfortable accommodation. Dining is a real gourmet experience, the buffet breakfast offers a wide selection of food. The evening dinner menu also offers a good choice of food and wine. Leonardo Da Vinci Hotel is one of the best Hotels in Milan. It is a four stars standard Hotel, with a lot of services: double air conditioning, luxurious new furniture everywhere. There are a lot of comforts like swimming pool, restaurant, self service, bar, tecnogym fitness center, green park with forest trees, boutiques, garage and much more. It is situated near the Central Railway Station. A few minutes distance from Duomo.
