Advantages: excellent location, great food, great views

This hotel is fantastic- brilliant services, lovely rooms and spectacular location. It is not the cheapest hotel but worth splashing out. Despite it being a 5* hotel and quite posh they are more than welcoming to us and our young son and we have been for the last 3 years. The pool is excellent (albeit a little cool!) and the view from the bar is amazing. The breakfast is excellent although i would strongly recommend making sure this is included in your package otherwise it is quite pricey. The hotel is located very close to the promenade des anglais and close to the old town which offers a wide array of choices for eating and shopping. The hotel is also only 20mins walk from the central train station which is cheap and easy to travel along the coast to cannes, monaco and so on. The rooms are clean and well maintained, very spacious with a ridiculously large bed. We always take the cheapest option and book a city view room which is quieter and even though it looks out to the rear of the hotel you are still looking over the old artisian apartments and out towards the mountains. Overall an excellent holiday.
