Last week I had to do some work at our North Carolina office, so one of my colleagues there booked me into the Millenium Hotel in Durham. It was not a chain I was familiar with, but a quick search on the web brought up a promising looking site, so I was all set. My reservation had been made a few weeks in advance, and a confirmation number emailed to me. This I imagine is just a precaution incase they can't find your reservation in the system for some reason, because I was not asked for it. We stayed in the Comfort Suites in Cary – 16 miles away from Raleigh-Durham Airport. We booked the first and last nights of our holiday here so that we were near the airport. Finding the hotel was a little tricky, not sure whether this was the hotels directions or our map reading skill – or lack of. The rooms, or suites are very nice. Decorated in light, bright colours - lemon & cream, they are large and airy. We had a king suite, so had a huge bed (bigger than UK king size) and dressing table, wardrobe and TV.
