I stayed at the Quality Hotel Savoy in Oslo this month and it was the most horrible experience. I had managed to pick up a virus on my travels so was looking forward to a comfortable night and something to eat. I found myself in a dark, dingy, cold and uncomfortable room. The hotel has no room service, no tea or coffee making facilities, so you go out to find a cafe or starve. The service is unfriendly.
