What a hotel - what a price!

I was lucky enough to book a short break to Paris in January, I had never been before and was really looking forward to it. I found a fantastic Hotel reservation web site with greatly reduced prices for hotels in Paris - www.simplyparis.co.uk - worth checking out before you book as we paid less then we'd have done if we contacted the hotel directly. We paid £29 per person per night!

The Hotel Fertel Etoile is situated at 4, rue des Acacias in the Argentine area of the city. It is about 20 metres from the metro and 'round the corner' from the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysees - so location is simply excellent

The hotel is very smart and tidy - it is advertised as a modern hotel, located just off the avenue de la Grande Armee, a short distance from the Arc de Triomphe. It has 51 bedrooms, all are air-conditioned and have phone, satellite TV, mini bar and private bathroom with hairdryer. Downstairs there is a small lounge with private bar and a breakfast room. This well located hotel has good standards which, combined with its relatively low prices, make it a very affordable 3 star superior hotel.

It certainly met all of my expectations and made a cheap short break a very enjoyable one. I would recommend this hotel to any dooyoo member. Paris is a very beautiful city and at these prices - very affordable!
