Advantages: clean, good as a base to sleep, near a Metro easy access to central Pais, real Paris? not a touristy touristy area

Disadvantages: not dead central Paris but this is not necessarily a bad thing, Pokey room but adequate, noisy road, but bearable

In the 12th area of Paris we found this good value hotel on France Hotel Online... double check the exchange rate when using this booking service as we found the website saying the hotel was 39 GBP a night, but it actually was more like 45GBP.
All we required from this hotel was a base to lay our worn out bodies which it satisfied completely. Our room was small, but has everything we needed .. a very small bathroom (WC, sink practically underneath it! and a bath with shower attachment a clean towels), a clean double bed. a wardrobe and sort of desk/dresser thing and a TV! all french channels though ... but we didn't expect a TV. There was a lift. Although our room was on the pokey side it looked out onto the street (traffic all through the night, but we slept ok) which was good for a nightcap of red wine looking out. We saw families etc so there must be bigger rooms.
Didn't have breakfast. Extra 6E. Supermarket withing walking distance. Right on top of metro. Some nice resturant/ cafes in the area with locals in - always a good sign.
Staff friendly enough. Spoke some English/some fleunt in English.
It suited us fine. Recommend this place if you only use a hotel as a base to explore and don't require lots of luxuries and tourist facilities right on your doorstop.
