Hotel Belvadere - Prague

This was a great hotel we've stayed there twice now, once December 07 to Jan 08 and once November 08. It is a little out of the centre but the trams are great to use they come every 10 minutes and you're in the centre in 5 minutes. The only thing with using the trams is you have to buy a ticket. Finding a shop to buy a ticket is the first problem and a shopkeeper that speaks enough English to understand you. How very British of me expecting people to understand me.

The hotel it's self is lovely, the rooms are large and the beds are so comfy you have a mini bar, TV, bathroom but a very strange toilet I must say. Breakfast is in the restaurant underground which is very quaint. The breakfast consists of Beans, hotdogs, strange bacon, scrambled egg and what we thought was cheese spread but was actually very strong garlic butter. The bar in the hotel is very reasonable and the local bars on the same street are very friendly and extremely cheap. There is a fantastic Italian near the hotel which I recommend if you walk down the street towards the church it is on the corner of the next street to the belvedere. The receptionists are very friendly and will call you a taxi if you need one. We went to the Zoo on our last day, it was fantastic!! Oh and avoid drinking in old town square it's really expensive.

Summary: excellent cheap hotel
