Advantages: Lovely weather, private beach, quality food and friendly staff.

Disadvantages: The rooms were okay but could have been better. Rooms were cleaned everyday though.

June 2008 I flew out with thomas cook airlines to Breezes Hotel, Puerto Plata in Dominican Republic. Me, my boyfriend and his Mum and Sister went all inclusive at the hotel. When we arrived we were happy to see that the hotel looked a lot nicer on first appearance than the ones we past on our way. The grand entrance was lovely and so was the hotel reception. The rooms seemed satisfactory but nothing exceptionally nice. On our first day of arrival we went down to explore the area in which we were going to be staying for two weeks and were happy with what we see. We had our own private beach which was lovely and relaxing due to no hassle. The pool was large and had a lazy river with a swim up bar. We did not experience any problem with finding sunbeds during the day as there were so many. The staff were all really nice and happy to help. The entertainment staff spent a lot of time with us while we were there and made our holiday really enjoyable. The al-carte restaurant food was nice (some days nicer than others) but the three other reservation restaurants that we attended were French, Mexican and Italian. All serving quality food that we all enjoyed on a number of occassions. There were many activities that we took part in some were free others we paid for. If we wanted to go anywhere we could get a bus or a taxi that came just outside the hotel reception. The weather was amazing through out the holiday averagiing around 31c however we did experience one night of a tropical storm but I really liked the experience. All in all we all had a lovely holiday and hope that others experience the same as we did!!

Summary: Most relaxing holiday any of us had ever been on!!
