My wife, our little boy and I recently spent 2 nights in the Umtali Hotel in a town called Aliwell North, just on the Eastern Cape/Free State border. We kind of stumbled across the place as we needed somewhere comfortable to stay, it is located a mile away from the excellent but sadly run-down Hot Springs - Aliwell North's major attraction. Situated in pristine hand manacured gardens this excellent hotel offers very clean spaceous rooms with Satellite TV, bath.
