... properly when we arrived. Service (with the exception of the dining room) was a little lax too - it was quite easy to have to wait 5 minutes at reception just for the simplest request. Its location would be a matter of taste. It is near the station - and when I say near I mean it is actually joined to the station. Billed as something extraordinary, this hotel fell rather short of the mark. True it has a striking external appearance and the dining room was equally attractive. Where it fell short however was in some of the basics. The bedroom, whilst spacious, was a little tatty and didn?t appear to have been cleaned properly when we arrived.
