So, the journey was organised but where in Paris would we stay? Over the years we have stayed in a whole variety of hotels, both independent and also part of a hotel chain. The quality has varied enormously. Location does not seem to be a big determining factor. Price seems largely unrelated. For a price we have experienced complete dumps and real gems. However, we like to choose different areas of Paris for each stay so we haven't, therefore, tended to go back to hotels we have liked.
