Sin City On A Budget ================ The Imperial Palace is not the biggest or boldest hotel an casino on the Las Vegas strip. Most people probably won't have even heard of it, it's not exactly iconic. However it does have two very redeeming features, location and rice. Ok, this isn't the Bellagio but let's face it who wants to spend all of their time in Vegas in their room when there's the opportunity to lose your money in any of the numerous and more famous casinos. You can just walk into any Casino in Vegas of course as they want your hard earned. Our room was a reasonable size, was clean, not too noisy with the doors ... Read the complete review

My friend and I stayed at the Imperial Palace for 3 nights on a recent road trip when another friend got married in Vegas. Both of us had stayed in Vegas before (at Flamingos and Stratosphere) and this hotel did not match them really, it has a grimy kind of feel to it rather than the usual glamour of vegas. The room however, was fine - clean and large with a balcony, it was also very quiet and we had no problem sleeping, it was so quiet we were rather surprised given the central strip location but our room was right at the end of a corridor which could have been why. Our balcony overlooked the pool so from 10am every day there was music but other than this no ... Read the complete review

Imperial Palace is certainly not as aesthetically pleasing to the eye as all the new Mega Resorts but it does have something to shout about. Without doubt one of the best Auto Exhibitions in the World. It is not just me saying this , one of my customers is a renowned expert in Vintage Cars and he openly admits that this is a rare and prestigous collection. It shows on a rotating basis some 750 Antique , Classic and Special Interest vehicles from the last 100 years. The Likes of Hitler's , Marilyn Monroe , JFK Lyndon Johnson's Cadillac , Eisenhower's Chrysler , Roosevelt's Cadillac & Elvis Presleys 1976 Powder Blue Cadillac ... Read the complete review

If you hadn’t already guessed it the Imperial Palace is based on an oriental theme – no, really. Of the three hotels that I’ve had the pleasure to stay in during my holiday to Las Vegas then I must say that the Imperial Palace was the worst. My use of the word “worst” may indicate that I didn’t like the place at all. Actually it is far from the case. The rooms were well decorated and colourful, if a bit on the small side, and were clean and tidy. However, when you’re talking Las Vegas then you’re talking extremely high hotel standards. Perhaps I should have described The Imperial Palace as the least good ... Read the complete review

The Imperial Palace is a moderatly priced Hotel, right in the middle of the Las Vegas Strip. The location is a really great base for any holiday in Vegas. The rooms are good. They have a large queen bed or 2 double beds. There is an en-suite bathroom with Bath & Shower in one. Wash Basin & Toilet. There is a 26 to 28 inch Television in all rooms which does include some of the American Cable networks. There isn't a safety deposit box in the room & to obtain one, you had to go down to the Casino floor & hire one from one of the Cashier's Desks. This is a bit of a pain as you are in full view of the public in a busy area & have to ... Read the complete review
