Imperial Palace. Not quite a Palace, but still very nice (Imperial Palace)

Advantages: Great centre of the Strip location. Clean, Comfortable & Good Restaurant.

Disadvantages: No safety deposit box in the room.

The Imperial Palace is a moderatly priced Hotel, right in the middle of the Las Vegas Strip. The location is a really great base for any holiday in Vegas.

The rooms are good. They have a large queen bed or 2 double beds. There is an en-suite bathroom with Bath & Shower in one. Wash Basin & Toilet. There is a 26 to 28 inch Television in all rooms which does include some of the American Cable networks.

There isn't a safety deposit box in the room & to obtain one, you had to go down to the Casino floor & hire one from one of the Cashier's Desks. This is a bit of a pain as you are in full view of the public in a busy area & have to queue to put stuff in & take stuff out. It's much better when they are in your room.

The Hotel has an outdoor swimming pool. It is not on the ground floor & is pretty well covered so people walking past & up & down the strip can't see it. It is a reasonable size. Has lots of free sun loungers & towels & gets lots of sun. As with all American outdoor pools though, Absolutely freezing!

The rooms are all room only board basis. You can however order room service. I didn't do this. There is also a buffet inside the Hotel. I had breakfast in there every day. Unlimited Fruit Juice, Coffee, Tea. All types of food. Cereals, Fresh Fruit, Pasties, Pancakes, Waffles, cooked meats like Sausage & Bacon. All you can eat. Really good.

I was happy staying at this Hotel. I would definitely stay here again. It was comfortable, clean & very reasonably priced considering it's location. You could do a lot worse.

Summary: Great Value, Great Location. Not the best there is, but there are much worse.
