Hotel Riviera (Riva Del Garda, Italy):
... booked a total of 3 rooms with this hotel back in May 2009 for a visit in July. All was well until a change in circumstances meant we needed to add an extra person to our holiday. The hotel to say the least were rather unhelpful telling us there was no way they could possibly fit an 8 year old in the hotel. This was even more annoying as after paying near on £800 for a twin room in a nearby hotel it was obvious... Read the full review: An ok hotel in Riva del Garda by lyndsey1989 |

Roman Residence Bed and Breakfast (Rome, Italy) ... Residence is a bed ad breakfast in Rome located 4 minutes walking distance from the Termini station. It is walking distance from the Colosseum and a short bus ride from all other attractions. You could walk it as well but we aren t really the walking type! It is also very near the bus terminal where many local buses and all hop on hop off sightseeing buses begin. The Termini metro station lets you use both A and B lines so it s really the perfect place for commuting round the city. It s on a main street and is busy all the time so we felt perfectly safe even walking home late at night. There are plenty of nice restaurants and gelateria around as well. The hotel its... Rose Garden Palace (Rome, Italy) ... can I say about Rose Garden Palace? It was a brilliant hotel! Firstly the lobby/reception area is lovely and large with ample seating (excellent when you ve just had a long plane journey) and the reception staff are very welcoming with good english. Our room was large with ample storage space. Lovely clean bathroom with bath and seperate shower head over it with lovely pressure (a rareity in most hotels I find - usually it s just a pathetic drip) We found the free mini bar a nice touch which was restocked every day with fresh bottled water, coke, apple juice etc. Also I found it quite nice (and a novelty) to have the bath bubble etc restocked everyday as well. We co... Read the full review: Excellent hotel by cawatkins10 |

Hotel Filoxenia (Trieste, Italy) ... last year s summer holiday, we were flying in and out of Trieste airport in North Eastern Italy, although we would be travelling around and not based in Trieste we decided to stay there for our last night making it easier to get to the airport the next day without worrying. I used a number of sites to search for hotels, including my trusty favourite for Italy www.venere.com which I eventually used to book this hotel. I don t know if it was the time of year (August) or if Trieste was just very poor for hotels, but I struggled to find a reasonably priced hotel in the area, and most hotels had poor ratings and reviews when I cross checked some of the travel review site...
