Hotel Romanico Palace (Rome, Italy) ... November 2007 my boyfriend took my on a surprise trip to Rome.. We stayed in the Romanico palace.. As soon as we pulled up at the hotel I loved it!!! The entrance is so grand, it has marble floors and gold plated finishing touches! The check in was swift and easy! The man on reception gave us a map of the area and said if we need anything please just ask. The lift. Well I know it sounds silly but the lift is amazing, it has a big plasma screen inside with a video playing of Rome and different attractions to go to. Hotel Al Ponte Antico (Venice, Italy) ... airport is a bit too expensive. The hotel is situated at the end of an alley and could easily be missed but opposite the alley there is a fantastic cake and sweet shop which made it very easy to find once located. Montebello Splendid ... is a lovely hotel. The hotel and its terrace is clean and tidy with beautiful marble floors. Breakfast is the usual Italian selection of cereals, bread, cheese, boiled eggs and a cooked breakfast. They also have champagne on offer if you need a kick start to your day! They have a restaurant that serves gorgeous tuscan food. The staff are friendly and most speak English. They are always polite, friendly and happy to assist you with anything you may need. The hotel is located in a quiet street which is only 15 minutes walk to the Duomo and shopping areas.
