Having just moved to Washington and not having a flat of my own to move into straight away, I spent three weeks in this little gem of a guest house. It is situated on a leafy and safe street (Mintwood Place) in the heart of Adams Morgan – one of the trendier Washington spots, full of bars and good restaurants – and is only a fifteen minute walk from DuPont Circle and the Metro.
