FANTASTIC HOTEL - CLOSE TO THE STRIP, CHEAP RATES............ What more can you ask for in Las Vegas?

I have stayed in this Hotel now on two ocassions - Both of which have been within the past 2 years. I must say that it is probably one of the most recommended Hotels in Las Vegas.

You can obtain really cheap room rates from booking online with any of the budget search sites, the Hotel is clean - walking distance from the Strip (up near the Stratosphere end) there is a monorail which stops outside the Hilton Hotel and takes you onto the strip, the pool area is really nice (it is a rooftop pool with a bar area) and there is never a problem with getting a sun lounger.

Yes, there are more extravagant 'showy' typical Las Vegas Hotels - these can be found on the famous Las Vegas Strip and there are some real bargains to be had here too. I have stayed in the Monte Carlo, Treasure Island, the Mirage and MGM Grande - all of which are lovely hotels with excellent facilities. However, if you are looking to see Vegas - possibly not stay in the Hotel room other than to sleep - then you can not beat the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel!

The rooms are spacious, although some of the interior decor is slightly dated, but the hotel is clean and there are ice machines on every floor. The lobby area is ocassionally congested but I think that this is the same situation in every Hotel in Las Vegas - It is like a train station as peak check-in times! All rooms have bath - shower - wc, good wardrobe space and excellent air conditioning. For those people that have never been to Vegas before - AC is a must!!!!!

It is short taxi ride from the Airport and taxis are always in the queue outside the front door of the Hotel. The staff here are friendly and helpful, the food is out of this world (as is the majority of Las Vegas really!) but the buffet lunch and dinner can definitely be recommended. These are both on an 'All you can Eat' basis, which is very common both on and off the strip.

This is one of the best value for money Hilton Hotels that I have ever stayed in. Having travelled with work for the best part of 8 years - mainly staying in high class chains such as this, I think that is as good a recommendation as any!!!

Summary: Excellent value for money - World famous Hilton Brand doesnt let Las Vegas down.....
