The ranch has a very homely feel to it, with fruit, drinks, and home-made cookies always available. The staff made us feel welcome, and made the effort to get to know all the guests. With only 20 or so rooms, the ranch is small enough to be personal. What about the riding? This too, was excellent. We have just returned from 2 weeks touring the West coast of the USA. Having seen some magical sights including the Grand Canyon, the last 4 days of our holiday were an unexpected bonus. Let me share our experiences with you... Being novice riders, we had (with some trepidation) booked 4 days at a Dude Ranch. This was the most expensive part of our holiday (around £1000 for two of us, including food and gratuities). However, we weren't disappointed, and had excellent value for money.
