... This already sets the mood for fun, fun and more fun! The reason why it is called Le Coco Beach is because the huge, huge grounds are covered with endless number of coconut trees. In French and Mauritian Creole, coconut is translated into Coco! We had an inclusive package which was worth every penny. The food was absolutely out of this world! While my main accommodation during my vacations had not been at the Coco Beach Hotel, a couple of my Mauritian friends invited us to spend a weekend over there with them. My first reaction of the place was "Wow! Now THAT'S fun!" For a hotel, Coco Beach had absolutely none of the elegant and aristocratic décor which usually grace the walls and structure of most hotels in Mauritius. In fact, this was an elegant place but with very little regard for pomposity.
