Le Meridien Makadi Bay Resort

A lovely hotel. I visited this hotel several years ago. It was quiet when we went in September but the staff were no less friendly and helpful than if the hotel was packed. The pool in the hotel is enormous, apparently the largest in the Middle East. It has a swim up bar and no end of free sun loungers around the pool. the site also has its own private beach where you can ride camels and snorkel. Inside, the hotel has an enormous and opulent entrance hall off of which the rooms come. The room was cleaned and tidied every day and was a great size.
