Advantages: Pure luxury, also near the sky train making it very easy to get around

Disadvantages: It is a little far from my favourite niteclubs on RCA...But taxis are very cheap so no problem

This is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at in my entire life!! (and I'm pretty well travelled.)

LeBua is a suite only hotel and I had booked the romance package for my partners birthday so we were guaranteed a riverview suite. This also included round trip 7 series transport to/from the airport, flowers, rose petal bath, canapes & champagne on arrival, some drinks at the skybar and their fantastic daily buffet breakfast.

We were greeted at the airport right away and were given water and ice cold flannels as soon as we got in the car, very refreshing when it's 30+ outside! We had a pleasant journey to the hotel where I was greeted with a bunch of flowers and we were very quickly escorted to our room to for the in suite check-in This is a great touch as it saves you waiting around in reception although I have to say the reception area is stunning and the pianist on the grand piano just added to the class of thw whole place.

The suite was beautiful and the view from the 58th floor was amazing. Unfortunately the balcony doors were locked but I actually managed to open them using a tip that somebody had posted previously in a review on LeBua...this just made the view even better. (Since my last stay here they have changed the rules and will now unlock your balcony doors upon request.)

Breakfast was lovely every morning, the selection of fresh fruits was very extensive and were delicious and there was a nice selection of local food as well as the usual bacon, sausages & eggs etc. I particularly liked the fact that they will cook you eggs ANY way you like...Eggs benedict anyone?!

For my partners birthday I had booked us a table Sirocco This is on the 65th floor and is the highest al fresco restaurant in the world. The food here was mouth-watering, and possibly a little over priced but it's not everyday you get to eat open air on the 65th floor so I swallowed the £80 bill graciously. There was also a live jazz singer who sang happy birthday and my boyfriend was then presented with a personalised birthday dessert.

The gym is very nice and well equipped although I have to admit that I didn't actually use the facilities and just lounged by the pool one morning. The changing rooms were luxurious, full of Bvlgari amenities :)

We had no problems at all and the staff were very attentive throughout our stay. (Some people have said they felt the staff were 'over' attentive but I think that is not the case.) The service we received here was second to none.

If you are thinking about booking a stay here stop thinking about it and just do it, I'm certain you will not regret it.

We're already looking forward to our next stay here and I'm sure we will return every time we go back to Thailand especially as we seem to get free upgrades everytime we return :)

Summary: A luxurous haven above the hustle and bustle of Bangkok
