Advantages: A brilliant hotel with brilliant facilities and links.

Disadvantages: Under 21s cant stop in any gambling areas.

Stayed here as 16 year old with parents and on arrival to las vegas airport you could instantly see the hotels beam of light shining from its roof. This light is supposed to be noticeable from the moon.

The hotel is based on an egyptian pyramid and throughout the hotel this theme is kept to, with egyptian wall markings being everywhere as well as the curtains and everything.
The main pyramid is supported by two tower blocks and with rooms starting at $69.99 with a $10 online booking discount this is one of Vegas' cheaper hotels however dont let this put you off as it lacks no where in class.

Huge outdoor swimming pools let you take in the heat during the day, If spending the day by the pool isnt your thing, then you can shop till you drop in Vegas' many shopping malls, with the one at Caesars Palace being superb.

Food wise, is also great with a large selection of food on offer at every hotel and with the Luxor around a 5 minutes walk to the next hotel you do not have to eat in the hotel itself, you can eat in any. New York New York hotel had very good range of food if i remember correctly.

Casino wise, every hotel as their own in hotel casino, with each one being as spectactualr as your own, but if anyone under the age of 21 is travelling remember they will not be able to gamble or drink, and they also can not stop anywhere in the gambling section but can walk through.
When we were there I was actually asked to move along from the gambling section when waiting to watch a blackjack hand.

In the hotel we stayed in a tower room, a faimly sized room, and the room was superb. Everything you could ask for was in it, and the cleanliness of the room was superb, especially for a hotel with over 4000 rooms in it.

The hotel is linked by a monorail to the Excaliber and Mandalay Bay. These hotels are partners and dominate the end of the strip. Each hotel has its special theme and each is brilliant in its own way.

If you are looking for a holiday to Vegas, the luxor should be considered, as its cheap and provded everything you could ever want on a trip to here. las vegas is the city which has everything.
