Advantages: Big rooms, reasonable prices, well located

Disadvantages: Rooms a little dark, no opening windows

This hotel is at the end of the strip making it one of the more affordable hotels on the strip. I

stayed here in 2005 for a friends wedding, and visited again in 2008 - although I didn't stay over.

The wedding chapel is beautiful inside and the staff worked really hard to make sure everything ran smoothly in the short but lovely service. I stayed in one of the towers, not in the pyramid, and found the room to be spacious with not one, but two king sized beds! The bathroom was OK, nothing too luxurious, but not to be sniffed at either.

Because we went as part of a group I had the advantage of seeing some of the Pyramid rooms but found them to be a little bit dark, due to the pyramid shape of them, and they were also quite a bit smaller than the Tower rooms. I also saw one of the Luxury rooms where the bride and groom stayed, and it had a HUGE jacuzzi bath on a platform in front of the window!

There are a variety of restaurants and bars within the hotel, and of course a huge casino floor - and it is true, you do get free drinks if you are playing on the slots or at any of the gaming tables in the casino.

When I went back in 2008 the hotel was going through a huge refurbishment and it looked very swanky indeed.

I would recommend this hotel, it is reasonably priced, well located - just out of the hustle and bustle of the main part of the strip, and the rooms and facilities are good.
